Every week I would teach a Bible story to the students and discuss why that story was important. I taught a series on young people in the Bible who did great things. The servant girl in the story of Naaman was one of my "young people." I did a take off of that story and my first published novel was born.Barbara Brittonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12553604185501843639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2067223810188192016.post-84945902718817980202020-02-28T07:54:20.873-05:002020-02-28T07:54:20.873-05:00Well good morning! I know Barbara because we're both with the Pelican publishing house, and she does a three-times-a-week update on prayer requests, new releases and cyber-appearances. Nice to see you in another venue! I know Linda because we're both New Hampshire-based.
Barbara,I'm interested -- why did you decide to do Biblical fiction? Seems to me there must be a tremendous amount of research, even more than in "regular" historicals?
Good luck on your release!
KBkaybeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14473317230010542909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2067223810188192016.post-55403878663157460012020-02-27T13:20:30.639-05:002020-02-27T13:20:30.639-05:00Thank you for having me on the blog, Linda.
