Yowza! All the Books Day 6: MaryLu Tyndall

MaryLu Tyndall, She Walks in Love

Congratulations Cassandra Darens! You are yesterday's Yowza! All the Books! winner. Your prize is Terri Wangard's novel, Soar Like Eagles. Watch your email for your official notification.

Some authors come to a desire to write at a late age. Personally, I’ve known I wanted to be an author since I could first write the alphabet! However, it took me a while to craft my debut novel, and Redemption, the first in my Legacy of the King’s Pirates series was published in 2006.

My favorite childhood book was The Last of the Mohicans.

You probably won’t be surprised to discover that my idea of the perfect vacation is sitting on a tropical beach with a cool drink and a great book.

I love the Psalms and my favorite is Psalm 84:11: “For the Lord God is a sun and a shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will he withhold from those who walk uprightly.”

About MaryLu:
A Christy Award finalist and winner of two Inspirational Readers’ Choice awards, MaryLu Tyndall dreamt of tall ships and swashbuckling heroes during her childhood years on Florida’s Atlantic Coast. She holds a degree in Math and worked as a software engineer for fifteen years.

Trapped in a land-locked cubicle, she was often seen pounding furiously upon the keyboard during her lunch hour, creating what would become her Legacy of the King’s Pirates series, all the while believing God’s promise to her that. “If you write it, I will get it published.” And He did!

Twenty-five books later, she continues to pen her romantic tales on the California coast while managing a home, husband, little scalawag grandkids, and several stray cats who have decided that her keyboard is the best place to sleep! She believes that without popcorn and chocolate, life would not be worth living, and her sole motivation in life is to bring others closer to God.

About She Walks in Love:

She must protect the Spear of Destiny at all costs
He must bring the lady safely home
But the powers of darkness chasing them have other ideas

Lady Cristiana D'Clere, the new protector of the Spear, is on the run from the steward of her estate, who has kept her drugged for years. All she ever wanted was to be safe, marry well, and raise a bevy of wee ones. Instead, she is far from home, chased by men intent on killing her and stealing the Spear of Christ for its incredible powers.

Sir Jarin the Just has never forgotten the woman who stirred his heart like no other. Determined to find and restore her to her proper place as Lady of Luxley Castle, he sets out on a journey fraught with more dangers than he ever could have foreseen. The biggest danger is to his heart, for he has vowed to remain unfettered and never surrender his freedom to a woman.

Though the Spear protects the couple along their journey, Cristiana must learn to trust the One whose blood stains the relic, while Jarin must learn to rely on powers far above his own knightly skills. For the dark magic that is chasing them may take all the powers of heaven to defeat.
